My mother was my inspiration for writing and anything art related my entire life. Her angel took her to be with the Lord on April 9th, 2006. I vowed to finish and publish as much of her writing as I possibly could because I know that's what she wanted the most. Mother loved everyone, but she had a special place in her heart for young people.

Her legacy will live on....

I love you, Mama. Save a spot in the choir for me.

~ About Me ~

My writing began as a junior in high school. A friend encouraged me to write a short story, like the one he was writing, and I gave it a shot. It was a disaster, but by then I’d acquired the “writing bug”.

Over the next few years I read like crazy, mostly historical novels. I didn't begin reading contemporaries until I got married several years later. I decided I wanted to write a time travel like the one my favorite author had written. Constance O'Day Flannery became my first inspiration to become a published author. {Since then I have had the honor of meeting and/or learning from many different authors: Suzanne Brockmann, Madeline Baker, Christine Feehan, Michele Bardsley, Jo Beverley and many more.}

While in college I majored in English and minored in Art. I wanted desperately to become a published author. I've continued to work on my writing and designing skills over the years and hope to one day achieve the same level of talent as many of my favorite authors.

I have a wonderful husband, two sons, and a collection of animals.

For the avid reader, there's nothing more wonderful in all the world than the pleasure of reading a very good book while enjoying your favorite drink and sitting in your favorite chair.

Other than spending time with my family and my time spent writing, reading is my second love. The love of reading is what encouraged me to write stories from my own imagination. As you travel through my site, feel free to read excerpts, visit other links and simply have a good time.
